NICK + ELLEN
Every single time I look at these photos from Nick and Ellen’s moody and bohemian Joshua Tree elopement, I have to pick my jaw up from off the floor. Every. Freakin. Time. Joshua Tree will always be one of my favorite spots to create in, and I will be blown away by the magic that is created in this desert paradise forever. I had such an amazing time putting this styled elopement together with some of my closest friends, and Nick and Ellen did such an amazing job bringing our vision to life. I am seriously obsessed with all of the moody, bohemian details scattered throughout this shoot.
Ellen looked absolutely FREAKIN STUNNING in this gorgeous, lace, long sleeve bohemian gown from @dreamersandlovers_that I was completely in love with. Nick and Ellen had such an genuine, electric chemistry that was so much fun to capture. The weather was perfect, and I had so much fun playing with the epic desert sunlight as it was peeking through the trees.
Later on as it got closer to sunset, Nick and Ellen blew me away during blue hour. Blue hour has recently become one of my FAVORITE parts of the day next to golden hour. I just love how every detail and color pops in such a unique way, and holds your attention. These two were so much fun to shoot with, and their connection was magnetic. Every moment between them was so genuine and heartfelt, and it truly came alive in Joshua Tree. Also… can we take a FREAKIN SECOND to drool over Ellen’s bouquet? It genuinely came straight out of my bohemian, desert DREAMS! I had such an epic time collaborating with my besties and documenting this love story. I’m hoping you all love these moody and bohemian Joshua Tree elopement photos as much as I do, and I’m praying I find myself getting lost in Joshua Tree ASSSAAPPP!!
