Words CANNOT describe how much fun I had while shooting this ADORABLE earthy and moody styled elopement in Joshua Tree with two of my very best-friends Riley and Alyssa! For those of you that may not know, Alyssa is one of my closest friends, and DEFINITELY one of my favorite people on this entire planet. I first met Alyssa WAAAAYYY BACK WHEN I first moved to Northern California. I felt like a fish out of water, and I can not express how grateful I am to Instagram for bringing the two of us together. From the day I met her she felt like family, a soul sister and a ray of sunshine I could always count on to be there for me. She’s an amazing friend and one of my biggest supporters, and I could not have been more excited to be planning this shoot with her. Riley and Alyssa are an incredible freakin’ couple and I had such an amazing time chasing them around Joshua Tree, capturing their genuine and heartfelt love along the way.
We ran, danced and laughed all over the always beautiful backdrop of Joshua Tree National Park. The energy and love between these two is MAGNETIC, and it gave me all the butterflies. Taking photos with your best friends is ALWAYS a good idea, and we had so much fun from start to finish. I worked collaboratively with some of my closest photographer friends on the planning of this shoot, and I am SO HAPPY with the results. Literally drooling over all these photos. I cannot wait for the next time I get to give these two lovers a BIG OL’ SQUEEZE. Love you two forever and always!
