On the steps of Sacramento city hall, Sarah and Eduardo tied the knot in true to their personalities fashion; a spunky and colorful city elopement. The ceremony was held upon a day of clear skies and softly rising heat. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation and excitement. So palpable and so real were the couple’s love and passion. Amid the romantic hue and the dreamy California landscape, we all felt a sense of renewal that day. Sarah and Eduardo’s ardent fervor for one another was written in their eyes. Two incipient lovers intertwined in the great dance of life. Two souls united across the ceaseless domains of time. 

The couple opted for a small and intimate affair. A close circle of friends and family gathered for the festivities in an extravagant limousine donning their black-tie and clinking champagne glasses in celebration of a most heart-warming betrothal. What a wonderful day it was for such a unique and beautiful wedding. The happy couple celebrated the special bliss of newly married life surrounded by loved ones for a truly exceptional happy hour reception party. 

Sarah and Eduardo surprised everyone with their wedding vow exchange to the delight of guests who weren’t part of the elopement ceremony. Their charmingly written vows brought as many tears to our eyes as they did laughter, joy, and a soothing sentiment of optimism. Popping the question was just the beginning of Sarah and Eduardo’s transformative journey together. 

Having met through her older brother, it was love at first sight, a reunion of long-lost soulmates. Eduardo proposed in their living room with an extraordinary triangle-shaped diamond ring. A one-of-a-kind ring for a once-in-a-lifetime love story. Sarah wore a long, silk wedding dress by Jenny Yoo, with a deep neckline and a bare back for her special day. Her sheer show-stopping veil beautifully complemented her bridal gown and she carried a vibrant bouquet of light pink and soft blue florals, nothing short of a florist’s (and MINE heheh) dream. 

Amid all the dancing and toasts that followed, Sarah and Eduardo were left with cherished wedding memories and unforgettable candid moments. The charming couple then drove around all of their favorite spots to take photos and commemorate their big day and capture the magic of their love and devotion to one another. 

The wedding day ended with a delicious and intimate dinner which was held at Darling Aviary along with the enthralling beauty of another magnificent Sacramento sunset. Sarah and Eduardo made their dream boho wedding a reality and I was incredibly honored to be able to capture their unique free-spirited nature as well as their precious memories of such a magical day. The beautiful couple wanted their wedding photos to radiate the depth and purity of their love, and I think we were able to make the pictures showcase that!
